COMMISSIONS WELCOME
Welcome to Lazarus Ioannou’s recent works (2007-2011): the “OLIPHOREST SERIES”…
“Stand in the middle of a forest.Everything becomes strange but familiar, you are alone but not lonely, peaceful but wary, and feel small despite the largeness you are now a part of.
The story of all these feelings, experiences, and moods feed the passion for my expression.
Canada’s natural landscape offers a link to life on this land, reminding us that
everything is connected. In some small way I hope to capture the emotion through colour,
shape, and texture to share the journey with anyone in need of a good story.” L.Ioannou

When are you showing your work in Toronto. I love it.
Hi Jeff, thanks for the love. I’m talking to a few galleries in Toronto about a possible showing in the Fall and Winter ’08. This summer will be busy with shows and studio tours up north here. There’ll be an ‘Upcoming Events’ page coming soon with all the dates.
Peace, Laz.
Beautiful. You seem to have found your voice. Something uniquely Canadian, but also very modern. Haunting almost.

You have some great work here. I like you 5 by 5 feet framed ones!
